The TBQS Quantometer is a turbine meter specifically designed for the operational volume measurement of natural gas and other non-aggressive gases such as propane, butane, air, carbon dioxide (CO2), or inert gases. It is highly suitable for internal controlling processes and various industrial thermal processing facilities.
The TBQS Quantometer is fundamentally a volume flow meter. Its operation relies on the flow of the gas to be measured, which causes the turbine rotor to rotate. The gas flow is narrowed on an annular cross-section, accelerated, and directed onto the smooth-running Aluminum rotor.
- The number of rotations is proportional to the measured gas volume.
- The frequency of rotations is proportional to the actual gas flow.
The rotor's rotation is connected to a speed-reducing gear train and transmitted via a magnetic coupling from the gas pressurized area to an adjustable eight-digit mechanical roller counter located in the atmospheric environment. The meter registers the operating volume using this eight-digit mechanical counter.

- Wide Flow Rate Range: Available for flow rates from 16 to 1600 m3/h.
- Robust Construction: The meter body is made of anodized high-strength Aluminum. The pressure containing housing is very robust against torsional or bending forces.
- Maintenance-Free Design: It is maintenance-free due to permanent lubrication of the ball bearings. Manual lubrication of the ball bearings by means of an oil pump is available as an option.
- Measurement Stability: The aluminum turbine wheel is precision-machined, dynamically balanced, and hard anodized. The computer-optimized turbine blade profile, combined with the fluid dynamic optimized inlet flow straightener, ensures a very stable measurement characteristic.
- Flexible Installation: It supports both horizontal and vertical mounting positions. The index head can be rotated by 355o, enabling versatile installation.
- Output Signal Options: The operating volume can be transferred to an electronic volume corrector via low frequency (LF-) pulses generated by Reed contacts. An optional high-frequency (HF-) sensor signal is also available for high-resolution determination of the actual gas flow.
- Straight Pipe Recommendation: Recommended straight inlet pipe kurang lebih 3DN and outlet pipe kurang lebih 2DN.
